Big jump in employment and salary for ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app graduates

University outperforms in the latest graduate outcomes survey

The latest Graduate Outcomes Survey shows big increases for recent University of ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app (ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app) graduates in employment and salary outcomes.

The 2022 Graduate Outcomes Survey National Report shows a large increase in full-time employment of recent ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app domestic graduates, which jumped 14.7 per cent from 65.5 percent in 2021 to 80.2 per cent in 2022, the fourth largest increase among Australian universities. The rate of full-time employment for recent ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app graduates now sits above the national average (79.0 per cent).

The median full-time salary for recent ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app graduates also rose significantly, from $63,400 in 2021 to $67,800 in 2022, an increase of $4,400; ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app was one of only six universities to see a full-time salary increase of greater than $4,000.

In a recent Employer Satisfaction Survey by the Australian Government, ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app graduates were rated no.1 by their employers, placing the University in the top spot among all universities nationally.

Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President (Academic and Student Life) Professor Theo Farrell said the University is focused on providing its students with a high-quality education and in-demand skills, and works closely with industry partners to ensure its graduates are well-prepared for the workforce.

The University offers tailor-made Work Integrated Learning opportunities for graduates across its portfolio and has formed strategic partnerships that allows students to partake in internships and placements in their field of study. ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app students gain industry experience through these purposefully designed programs while they are studying and develop their skills before they finish their degree.
