UAL is a ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app Partner Institution and Erasmus+ is a European Union initiative that promotes mobility and collaboration opportunities within higher education.

In February 2023, three BAL staff members were awarded Erasmus+ grants to travel to the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app Partner Institution, the University of Almeria in Spain. Fatma Kara is from Turkey and following on from studying a Bachelor of Law and International Relations, she worked as a lawyer in Istanbul for a few years. She then studied an Air and Space Law LLM in the Netherlands at Leiden University. We hope you enjoy getting to know our new TLPC PhD candidate.
