Bachelor of Nursing

3 years

The Bachelor of Nursing prepares you for a career as a registered nurse.

Upon completion of the degree, you may be eligible to apply to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).

BACHELOR OF NURSING

Diploma of Nursing

18 months

ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app College provides pathway options for students who do not meet the entry requirements for the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app course that they are interested in studying.

The ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app College Diploma of Nursing (HLT54121) provides students with the knowledge, skills and attributes to become an Enrolled Nurse.

Package offers are available for the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app College Diploma of Nursing with seamless progression into the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app Bachelor of Nursing with 48 credit points (entry to second year) following successful completion of the Diploma of Nursing and registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA.

I am an International Student

If you are an International student, you have a number of options to study Nursing at ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app. 

Bachelor of Nursing

3 years

The Bachelor of Nursing prepares you for a career as a registered nurse.

Upon completion of the degree, you may be eligible to apply to register with the (NMBA). Registration with NMBA will require you to be a native English speaker, or achieve an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 7.0, with a minimum score of 7.0 in all four test categories: Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening.

BACHELOR OF NURSING

Diploma of Nursing

18 months

The ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app College Diploma of Nursing (HLT54121) provides students with the knowledge, skills and attributes to become an Enrolled Nurse.

Master of Nursing (Pre-Registration)

2 years

This two-year full-time course builds upon your existing undergraduate knowledge, preparing you for a career as a registered nurse. 

Please note that this course will be offered from 2025 and subject to accreditation by Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council (ANMAC) and approval by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).

Bachelor of Nursing

3 years

Applicants with any other nursing related qualification should apply for the Bachelor of Nursing and seek credit approval which means you could graduate in 2 years.

The Bachelor of Nursing prepares you for a career as a registered nurse. Upon completion of the degree, you may be eligible to apply to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).

I have finished year 10

If you have not completed your HSC, ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app College offers a Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33021) or Certificate IV in Ageing Support (CHC43015). This provides a pathway to further nursing studies.

Certificate III in Individual Support

5 months

ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app College provides pathway options for students who do not meet the entry requirements for the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app course that they are interested in studying.

The CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support is a 5-month course which reflects the role of workers in the community and/or residential settings who follow an individualised plan to provide person-centred support to people who may require support due to ageing, disability or some other reason. This course is designed for domestic students studying in Australia.

On successful completion of the Certificate III in Individual Support or Certificate IV in Ageing Support and subject to meeting entry requirements, you may progress to the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app College HLT54121 Diploma of Nursing. The Diploma of Nursing provides a pathway to the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app Bachelor of Nursing.

Certificate IV in Ageing Support

5 months

ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app College provides pathway options for students who do not meet the entry requirements for the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app course that they are interested in studying.

On successful completion of the Certificate III in Individual Support or Certificate IV in Ageing Support and subject to meeting entry requirements, you may progress to the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app College HLT54121 Diploma of Nursing. The Diploma of Nursing provides a pathway to the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app Bachelor of Nursing.
